David W Robinson

David W Robinson retired from the rat race after the other rats objected to his participation, and he now passes his time writing humorous whodunits and occasional hard-boiled works.

Born a Yorkshireman, he now lives on the outskirts of Manchester with his long-suffering wife. He is best known for his one-megaton sense of humour, his dislike of television, and his love of brown ale. He is also quite deaf which he finds useful in focussing his concentration.

Best known as the creator of the light-hearted and ever-popular Sanford 3rd Age Club Mysteries and Mrs Capper’s Casebooks. He also produces darker, more psychological crime thrillers under the pen name Robert Devine.
